there is this simple question driving me around: why is there no modeler mac version? as there are excel versions for mac and/or open office/neo office using excel files ? of course i ve read about the bootcamp/parallel... possibility but as a mac user i really try to avoid dealing with windows. for a good reason i think ;) ... only things like rhino, grasshopper an modeller make me think of it but is this really necessary?

    Hi,

We have a native mac application for ParaCloud GEM 2010. There are many reason why Modeler has no native mac application, starting with the fact that Microsoft removed the support for VBA in the Office for Mac. We wish it was so simple, but we do invest a lot of efforts on GEM, so you should have a propper solution using GEM on mac osX.

ah, ok - thanks for the reply. i already use gem and consider it as a mighty little tool. i only have the impression that modeler goes far beyond the gem issues - but could not test it so far... keep up the good development!
